1. Information processed by CMMS
CMMS processes information needed to operate maintenance workflows, including:
- Account, profile, authentication, role, and permission information.
- Asset, work request, work order, preventive maintenance, spare-part, and procurement records.
- Attachments, comments, approvals, assignments, and other information entered by authorized users.
- Audit, activity, device, and technical information used to secure and support the application.
2. How information is used
Information is used to provide CMMS functionality, coordinate maintenance activity, produce operational reports, administer access, troubleshoot issues, and protect the service.
3. Access and disclosure
Information may be available to authorized personnel within your organization, designated support providers, and parties required to operate or secure the service. Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law.
4. Security and retention
CMMS uses authentication, role-based access, audit records, and administrative controls to help protect information. Retention periods are governed by your organization’s policies, contractual requirements, and applicable obligations.
5. Your choices
Requests to access, correct, export, or remove personal information should be directed to your organization’s CMMS administrator or privacy contact. Some records may need to be retained for operational, security, or legal reasons.
